During the week of March 16-25th, music’s finest DJ’s and their fans from around the world will flood the Miami Beach area to take part in the 2012 Winter Music Conference (WMC).

The Shelborne Beach Resort’s club Shine will host some of the most sought after events this year. The beautiful beach resort will kickoff the conference with the annual Shelter NYC party, featuring internationally acclaimed DJ Timmy Regisford, on March 9th from 9-5am. On Thursday, popular DJ’s David Morales, Quentin Harris and Frankie Knuckles will play from 12pm-10:30pm in the pool area of The Shelborne. Body and Soul, another popular dance party held in New York City, will be having their first party at the Shelborne on Saturday March 12th, at 12PM with the talented Danny Krivit on the turntables.

Club Space, another top venue known for house and electronic music, will have DJ Victor Calderone playing on Saturday from 10pm – 2pm. Getting a WMC badge will allow free entrance to some events, while others will have a cover ranging from $10-20.

Aside from the fantastic music and dancing, I’m looking forward to enjoying some lovely weather and beautiful palm trees against an art deco backdrop. – Will Bradford
