The Island of Rhodes, located in the southeastern Aegean Sea, is a beautiful and peaceful place to escape during the holidays. There is sunshine all year round, plenty of inexpensive places to eat and friendly people everywhere. I spent most of my time floating around the crystal blue waters with my inflatable raft and eating delicious food. One of my favorite beaches was in the city of Lindos, where there are picturesque views of the acropolis and white washed houses that are simply breathtaking. If you ever decide to visit the Mediterranean, Rhodes is definitely a place to sit back, relax and enjoy the beautiful treasures the region has to offer. – Will Bradford
